Pete has some exciting news to share: there is a blue truck in my belly! While he is usually right about most things, we’re pretty confident it’s actually a baby:
Baby Marr #3 is due in February 2014. We’re very excited to watch our family grow and hoping we have plenty of time to convince Pete that babies are just as fun as blue trucks. Whether it’s a boy or a girl, we know that Pete is going to be a great big brother 🙂
Maybe it’s a pink truck! Can’t wait to meet him or her. Beyond happy and excited for you. I love you so much!

The picture of baby Hildegarde (or Herbert) is great, but the best picture you ever posted was Pete inside the front door of your house bent over in glee watching the paving trucks on your street. I look at it every time I need a lift.
A beautiful and precious “preview” to your new blessing -to-be! Pete is going to be a wonderful little brother!:) -and soon discover that a new brother or sister is far more interesting than a blue truck:)
