Construction!!

I have so many posts in draft status, but had to share this picture of Pete from yesterday! Our street is being paved and it made his entire day.

When I picked him up from school yesterday, his teachers said they heard nothing about vacation, and that he only talked about the pavers and construction vehicles he saw in the morning 🙂  He gets soo excited and it’s so adorable to watch.  I love seeing the world through his big blue eyes!

Blizzard of 2013

The Blizzard of 2013 dumped two feet of snow on us!  We hibernated most of the weekend, but also took advantage of the snow to play outside.  Pete loves shovels, and seeing them makes him very happy.  So we bought him his very own, Pete-sized shovel just for the storm.  He could not have been cuter with it. He was so excited to “help Dada shovel” and did a great job Friday night before the worst of the storm hit.  shovel collageHe loved being outside in the snow and had so much fun playing with us and chasing Bailey:

Pete loved watching for the “noisy snowclouds” (snowplows).  He was fascinated by them.  He also tried sledding for the first time.  All day, he talked about “sledding today!”  So we bundled him all up and headed over to a hill near our house.  I think the idea of sledding was more fun than actually doing it.  But he tried it and looked really adorable doing it!

I’ve been playing catch up with posts, so you can read about Pete’s first day of school here.  And you can (finally) read about Christmas here.

Playing Catchup

It’s been way too long since I’ve posted, so here (in more pictures than words) is what Pete’s been up to the last month or so!

Labor Day Weekend at the Cape with Nana Quinn:

Random pictures from around the house

We spent Columbus Day Weekend at the Cape and had so much fun. It was perfect fall weather and we spent much of Sunday at First Encounter Beach so Pete and Bailey could run around at low tide.

Pete loves having an audience and is never without a fan club when we’re at the Cape. It’s pretty adorable watching him with his Nana, Bumpa and “Izzie” and I know he misses them all when he’s back at home! Here’s my favorite picture from the weekend; I love watching these two together:

Little Leprechaun

Here’s a few pictures of our little leprechaun on his dad’s special day.  Thanks to his grandmothers for providing him with the cute clothes!  The shirt on the left says “Mom’s Lucky Charm” and the shirt on the right says “Kiss Me I’m Irish” … I tried all day, but just couldn’t get a good shot of his face and the t-shirts.

Even his cute little baby feet got in on the action:

And last but not least, a picture of my view on a daily basis.  I just cannot get enough of that sweet little face looking at me …

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!!
